Missionary Sisters of St. Peter Claver

Continuing our exploration of the various missionary congregations and apostolates headquartered in Rome, this morning we visited the House of the Missionary Sisters of St. Peter Claver, located near the Basilica of St. Mary Major.  The Sisters have one of their houses in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis (Woodbury).  Several sisters made presentations about the different aspects of their missionary work throughout the world - in Africa, Brazil, and India, as well as many other places.  We celebrated Mass in their chapel and had the opportunity to visit and pray in the room of their Foundress, Blessed Mary Theresa Ledochowska.  After our tour and prayers the Sisters gave us coffee and treats and joined us for some good Christian fellowship.
